New website. March 2006. I have
just launched a new website,
ModernPilot.com. It is a free, online magazine for pilots, by
pilots.
New business. I have set up a copywriting and marketing
agency, called
Articulate,
that specialises in technology work.
New blog. January 2006: I
launched my first blog,
Bad
Language, which is about the daily abuse of the English language in IT.
Hecuba.
Aileen
has made her West End, New York and Washington acting debut with the
Royal Shakespeare
Company in Hecuba.
Instrument rated. I have passed my FAA Instrument Rating in December 2004.
Mr. and Mrs. Stibbe. Aileen and I were married on 26th June 2004 in Berkshire. See pictures.

Two cars, one family: Aileen's latest play had a rehearsed reading at
the Bridewell Theatre in Fleet Street in mid-August.
Flying high: I'm now up to 260+ hours total, 30+ hours on the Cirrus and I've started training for my full instrument rating.
Cirrus SR-20. (Spring 2004) I've just finished my check-out on this wonderful plane.
All's Well in London. (Spring 2004) Aileen has just overseen the transfer of the RSC show, starring Judi Dench, from Stratford-upon-Avon to London's Gielgud Theatre.
Microsoft security expert (Spring 2004) I write a fortnightly column for Microsoft's MSN and bCentral websites.
Latest writing (Spring 2004) Aircraft reviews: Agusta 109 Power Elite, Diamond DA-42, Piaggio P180 Avanti and Boeing Business Jet 2. Working on a history of computer games for Wired.
Wedding bells (May 2004) Aileen and I got engaged on 11th May 2003 and our wedding is planned for 26th June 2004.
Microsoft business guide (December 2003) I have
completed a 34 page business guide to security for Microsoft
and I write a regular
column for bCentral.

Sour Mash (February 2004) A brief moment of fame in an cameo appearance in Sour Mash Magazine as 'Joshua', one of the Radiohead Juniors.

(November 2003) Aileen
has just started work as assistant director on All's Well that Ends Well,
starring Judi Dench.

live. This is a personal training company that I mentor.

Shakespeare Company. I went on tour with her to New York in
March.

New writing projects (April 2003) include the DTI's new Connect website, a brochure for Palm and two aircraft test flights The Robb Report.
Editor at Large at Real Business (March 2003). I am more involved the editing side of things while still contributing articles regularly.
San Francisco trip report (March 2003). I spent a month in California last August - here are some pictures and a short article about what happened while I was there.

Matthew in San Francisco (August 2002) On 13th August, I am leaving for San Francisco for a month's working holiday. I will be writing, flying, hanging out and catching up with old friends. I will be contactable by email and on my mobile phone.
New website (July 2002) I have redesigned my website to make it easier to use, easier to navigate and faster to load. Also it has given me an opportunity to refresh the content and bring some of it up to date. Lastly, I have included links to Amazon for various books and items that I particularly like.
