Advice*

On Writing by Steven King is probably the only book about the craft of writing that I actually enjoyedThe Elements of Style is a very short and very efficient guide to good grammar and style.  The Economist Style Guide is also very good but longer.  The Pyramid Principle by Barbara Minto explains how to create logical and compelling arguments and communicate them to other people.
